The “keg” brewery is a cost effective, but robust built system designed to easily and with high efficiency produce small quantities of wort, either to produce beer or wash for distilling.
The system is perfect for home brewers who want a neat system plumbed with industrial hygienic valves – and for micro distillers who wish to produce wort for distilling. The system can be perfect for brewers needing a test skid.
The system utilizes cheap but robustly built beer kegs as the main brewing vessels – making the system cheap and robust. The system size is the TOTAL capacity – and so the actual yield is slightly less that than the this – because some head space is required. This can be to some extent overcome by “liquoring back”
The system can also be repurposed to blend and ferment molasses, and to infuse and bottle soft drinks and Kombucha.
