What’s the point of having a smart piece of equipment without control? The basic control panel gives the distiller the ability to safely control the element, as well as being able to vary the power input to the element.
Varying the input to the element lets the distiller control the intensity of the boil, and so the composition of the distillate. Water for the dephlegmator is controlled manually.
Beyond the basic Bumpkin controller, its possible to integrate a touch screen controller with monitoring of all the important temperatures and pressures. This system can save and trend the stills performance and help with recipe development, operator training and quality control. These are bespoke items, so please enquire for more details.
